System automatically detects lungs in png, jpg or jpeg formatted files (chest x-ray).
The system is also trained to upload only raw (not preprocessed/colored) chest X-ray images. If the chest X-ray also includes lower parts of the body (abdomen, etc.), please cut and upload only chest part.
You can upload a raw (not preprocessed/colored) chest X-ray (CXR) image that you have downloaded from your system to your computer. But if you cannot download the X-ray image from your system (jpg, png extension) or if it is downloaded in pdf format, you can use the WINDOWS snipping tool or the win + shift + S triple key combination on the keyboard to create a square that will include the chest from the upper left corner of the chest image (lungs) to the lower right corner and save it to your computer. You can upload the saved image to the system. Take a screenshot for MAC: shift+command + 4 triple key is a combination.

By uploading CXR files to our system, you can use the DSS system that will help doctors on pneumonia detection.
Pneumonia is a lung disease caused by viruses and bacteria. It causes inflammation in the lungs. Pneumonia can usually be detected by changes in lung opacity on chest X-rays. If not diagnosed and treated early, it can lead to dangerous consequences in children and the elderly. The application we developed in this study can help clinicians in the decision support process.
This study is experimental. In the images you upload now, the application may give inaccurate result. There is a margin of error!
